Register your matter
You are a party to a dispute with or about an owners corporation. Tell us, and a member of the register team will contact you within two business days to explain what a notice needs and how lodging works. We do not ask who the dispute is with or what happened, and nothing from this form is published.
Who this is for
Anyone who is a party to a dispute with or about an owners corporation: an owner, an occupier such as a tenant, a contractor or service provider, a buyer with a contract to purchase, or the owners corporation itself. If you are acting for a client, choose that role and we will talk to you.
What we ask for
Your role, the building's postcode and its name or address, the kinds of dispute that apply, ticked from a list, your name and email, and a phone number if you would like a call. That is all. The form has no box for names of other people and no box for what happened.
What happens next
- You get a reference number on screen straight away.
- A person contacts you within two business days, explains what a statutory declaration is, what one supporting document looks like, and answers your questions.
- When lodging opens, you place the record yourself, with the declaration and the document. The owners corporation is told first and has fourteen days to reply.
- During the Victorian launch period, lodging a notice is free. Searching is free. Replying is free. Removing or correcting your own notice is free. Any change to lodging fees will be announced on this page in advance.
