Privacy policy
This policy covers the personal information this site collects today: the interest list, the details you give when you register your matter or watch a building, and reports about a notice. It will be updated before the first notice is published. Last updated 26 October 2026.
Who we are
Public Notices and Disputes Register (PNDR) is a business name of Veridex Pty Ltd, ABN 95 702 035 265. Contact us about privacy at privacy@pndr.au.
Collection notice for the forms on this site
Each form on this site says in one line what we use your details for. The rest of the notice is this: the details are collected by Veridex Pty Ltd (ABN 95 702 035 265), trading as PNDR; they are used for the purpose stated beside the form and as the section below describes; providers working for us may handle them on our instructions, some outside Australia; you can see, correct or delete them, or complain, by emailing privacy@pndr.au; and the sections below say how long we keep them and who handles them. Details from register your matter, watch a building and reports about a notice stay on the register side of our systems and are never added to our marketing list.
What we collect, and why
Interest list. When you register your interest, or ask for the conveyancer's page, we collect your name, email, the group you belong to or your firm and, if you give them, your suburb or postcode and a note. We use these to tell you about the register's launch and changes, to answer you, to tell you about our own services, to understand who is interested, and to improve, develop and test the register. Research uses aggregated or de-identified information wherever possible. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Register your matter. We collect your role, the building's postcode and name or address, the kind of dispute, your name, email and, if you give it, your phone number. We use these so a member of the register team can contact you about your matter and help you prepare a notice. Nothing from this form is published, and we do not ask who the dispute is with or what happened.
Watch a building. We collect the building's name or address, its postcode and your email. We use these to email you when a notice is lodged, replied to or resolved on that building. Every email has a link to stop watching.
Report a problem with a notice. We collect your email, your relationship to the notice, what you tell us about the problem and, if you give them, your name and the notice reference. We use these to review the notice, act on the report within seven days and tell you the outcome. A report becomes part of the register's complaint record.
Every form records the time you sent it and the words you agreed to. Each form includes an automated check that blocks spam submissions.
Who handles it, and where it is kept
Your details are held by providers that work for us and act on our instructions, under contract: hosting, email delivery, customer records, analytics, payments, and content and marketing agencies promoting the register. Some may store or process details outside Australia. Only the people running the register use them. We do not sell your details, and we never let another organisation use them to market its own services to you.
The interest list is kept apart from the register itself. Details from register your matter, watch a building and reports about a notice stay on the register side and are never added to our marketing list. When our customer system is connected, interest-list details will move to it, and this policy will say so.
How long we keep it
Interest list: while you want to hear from us. Unsubscribe, or email privacy@pndr.au, and we delete your details within 30 days. Register your matter: until you lodge your notice or ask us to delete it, and for no more than twelve months if you do neither. Watch a building: until you stop watching. Reports about a notice: for as long as the notice they concern is on the register, and for as long as the law requires us to keep a record of complaints.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
What we hold is what you gave us on a form. To see, correct or delete it, email privacy@pndr.au. We reply within 30 days.
Questions or complaints
Email privacy@pndr.au. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
